Valeriy E Karasik

Valery E. Karasik graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University (BMSTU) in 1963 and received the Ph.D. and Doctor of Engineering degrees from the same University in 1970 and 2000, respectively. He is a Professor with the Department of Radioelectronics and the Director of the Center of Photonics and Infrared Engineering, BMSTU. His interests include the research and design of laser devices with the focus on the laser target detection and location. Dr. Karasik is a member of the Russian Academy of Engineering and International Academy of Informatization. He has been given the title of Honored Worker of Russian Federation Higher Education.
