Bio
Actually I work on the synthesis and full characterization of biodegradable polymers used as food packaging materials. Especially the gas barrier behavior is evaluated before and after food contact, food liquid simulant contact, stressed treatment (thermal and photo degradation), simulating a real material use, with different gases (O2, CO2, N2, N2O, C2H4, Air, mix of gases) at 0-45°C.
Life cycle Assessment study are performed, with the Carbon Foot Print determination, by SimaPro software .
