Bio
I was born on 14.01.1950. I graduated from Odessa Mechnikov State University in 1971 with a specialty in physics and physical electronics. In 1984 I received a degree of candidate physics and mathematics. The topic of my candidate thesis is " Influence of the degree of deformation and annealing on the anisotropy of physical and mechanical properties of some metal alloys with a cubic lattice." In 2002 I received the degree of doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. The doctoral thesis topic is "The fractal nature of the anisotropy of physical properties of deformed metal systems with cubic lattices". I have the academic title of Professor and hold the position of Professor of the Department of Professional and Technological Education at the State South Ukrainian University named after K.D. Ushinsky. I have more than 200 publications, including one scientific monograph, and a textbook on Material Science for undergraduates. Key research areas: texture and her influence on the anisotropy of physical and mechanical properties of structural materials (strength, flexibility, elasticity, inelasticity, electrical and heat conductivity, heat expansion) and investigation of defect structure and her influence on the anisotropy of properties on a base of fractal consideration.
