Vitaly V. Kubarev

Vitaly V. Kubarev received the Specialist degree in physics from Novosibirsk State Technical University, Novosibirsk, Russia, in 1978, the Ph.D. degree in plasma physics and the Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences degree in instruments and methods of experimental physics from the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics, Novosibirsk, in 1990 and 2016, respectively. He is currently a Leading Research Fellow with the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Novosibirsk. He has authored more than 230 articles and conference presentations. His research interests include plasma and laser physics and infrared and terahertz instruments and methods. His current research interests include the investigation of the free-electron lasers, ultrafast terahertz spectroscopy, terahertz laser discharge, and others applications of powerful terahertz radiation.
