Valentina Grumezescu was born in Bucharest, Romania, on October 27, 1989. She received the B.S. degree in environmental engineering from University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania, in 2011. She is currently a M.S. student, University Politehnica of Bucharest, Micro and Nanomaterials, under the supervision of Prof. Ecaterina Andronescu. Her research interests include synthesis and characterization of biomaterials, nanomaterials, and their application in medicine.
