Victor R. Pacheco

I work on taxonomy, systematics and biogeography of Neotropical mammals, specially bats and rodents. My interest is at present mainly centered in uncovering the hidden diversity of mammals and their patterns of distributions, and in student formation. I use this experience in my practice with issues in conservation, zoonosis, emerging disease, collection management, and species modeling. I am also professor at San Marcos University and Curator of Mammals at Museo de Historia Natural, Lima.
