Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Salamanca (Spain). PhD in Plant and Animal Ecology and Biology from the University of Salamanca (USAL) and Degree in Biology from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) The topic of my PhD thesis was a biosystematics study of the genus Elymus L. and related genera of the tribe Triticeae (Poaceae) in the Western Mediterranean plus the taxonomic revision of these genera for the Flora Iberica Project (CSIC). PhD visiting researcher at the Herbarium of the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew (K) and the School of Engineering and Natural Sciences, University of Iceland. Experienced in in situ hybridization techniques (GISH and FISH), foliar anatomy, taxonomy, identification of vascular plants and development of floristic catalogues. Work experience as Technical Specialist at the Herbarium of the University of Salamanca (SALA), Scholarship Holder at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Salamanca (USAL) and the Department of Sciences (Botany) at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM).
