Utpal Prodhan based at Liggins Institute, University of Auckland, achieved his PhD in Biomedical Science, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Food Technology and Nutritional Science of Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Bangladesh. Utpal uses metabolomic approaches to investigate how dietary modification regulates digestive, biochemical and metabolic processes that are essential for optimal health, and to explore potential nutrient biomarkers of metabolic health.
