个人简介
Dr. Nataša Đurišić-Mladenović is an Associate Professor at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technology Novi Sad. She has significant experience within the field of environmental science, biodiesel production and characterization, applied chemometrics in source identification and sample classification, application of different methods for analysis of micropollutants; her research interest lies also in the field of other alternative fuels, waste-to-energy valorization, environmental protection and remediation, chemical contaminants monitoring.
Dr. Đurišić-Mladenović has participated in 11 national, 8 international (1 HE, 1 FP7, 3 IPA HU-SRB, 3 COST) and 7 bilateral projects (2 with Hungary, 1 with Slovenia, 1 with Spain, 1 with China, 1 with Portugal and 1 with Germany) dedicated to the environmental pollution and control, chemical contaminants analysis, waste valorization, green technologies, etc. From Aug 2022 till July 2025 she is a Project Coordinator of the Horizon Europe project TwiNSol-CECs (101069867). She was a Communication Coordinator in FP7 CEFSER project (GA229629), 2009-2012. She was a Principal Investigator of the Serbian team in bilateral project of Serbia-Germany “Assessing environmental and social impacts of Regional BIoeconomy Systems (REBIS)”, funded by the Serbian Ministry for Education, Science and Technological Development and DAAD (Germany), 2020-2021.
Several times she has acted as an external expert evaluator of the research project proposals (HORIZON 2020, OTKA, bilateral collaborations). She is a reviewer in international and national journals (Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews (Pergamon); Energy Conversion and Management (Pergamon); Waste Management (Pergamon); Chemosphere (Pergamon); Journal of Cleaner Production (Elsevier BV); Biomass and Bioenergy (Pergamon); International Journal of Hydrogen Energy (Pergamon); Chemical Engineering and Processing (Elsevier BV); Journal of the Brazilian Chemical Society (Sociedade Brasileira de Quimica); Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy (AIP Publishing); Journal of Applied Engineering Science (Institute for Research and Development in Industry, Belgrade, Serbia); Chemical Industry and Chemical Engineering Quarterly (Association of Chemical Engineers of Serbia); Scientific Technical Review (Military Technical Institute of Yugoslav Army, Belgrade, Serbia). She was reviewer of four national monographs dedicated to various aspects of biodiesel production, co-published with the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Art-branch Niš, and Faculty of Technology in Leskovac.
Dr. Durisic-Mladenovic has been actively participated in many training activities at national and international level, including the training of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) “Biomass Utilization Technology”, Hiroshima University, Higashi-hiroshima, Japan, 5 January-8 February 2020, where she was one of two researchers chosen by JICA to be representatives of Serbia with full JICA training scholarship. Under the COST Action TD1203 EUBIS, she performed short-term scientific mission (STSM) at Biomass and Waste Group, Chemical Engineering Department, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece (host: Prof. Dr. Anastasia Zabaniotou), 1-31 July 2014. In 2008 she participated in FP6-CASCADE course “Communicating research to the public and to media”, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden, 17-21 November 2008.
She is a member of the Serbian Chemical Society (SCS), being also delegated representatives of Chemistry Society of Vojvodina in the SCS Steering Committee from 2018: member of JICA Alumni, Belgrade, and Serbia Biogas Association, Belgrade. She is an elected Deputy Head of the Oil-Petrochemical Engineering Department and a member of Teaching-Scientific Board of the Faculty, both from 2018; she is a coordinator of Chemical Contaminants Unit within the accredited Laboratory for Testing Food Products at the Faculty of Technology from Oct. 2020; member of Organization Committees of numerous international scientific events organized at the Faculty.
Dr. Durisic-Mladenovic was invited lecturer on topics of biofuels at two national events, and lecturer at: 5th CEFSER Training Course “Analysis of chemical contaminants in food and the environment”, Faculty of Technology Novi Sad, Serbia, 7-11 May 2012; Course of Food Chemical Analysis for Quality Control and Labeling, Faculdade de Medicina Veterinaria, Universidade Tecnica de Lisboa, Portugal, October 10-12, 2012, and CEFSER Symposium “Communicating research to the public”, Faculty of Technology Novi Sad, November 30, 2009. Supervised dozens of BSc and MSc works, currently mentor of 1 PhD thesis.
Publications: 42 articles in international journals with impact factor, 1 book chapter in international monograph, 1 student book (printed version 2021, electronic version 2020). SCOPUS (1 Sept 2023): h-index 17, total citation 917.
