Dr. Umakanta Mishra is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at VIT University Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. Prior to this, he worked, Postdoctoral Fellow in Department of Business Administration, School of Business, Soochow University, Taipei 100, Taiwan. Prior to this, he worked as Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Universidad de Monterrey, Monterrey, N.L., México. He worked as an Associate Professor in Department of faculty of Science & Technology, Tripura, India. He received his Ph. D. Degree (Mathematics) in 2013 and M. Phil. (Mathematics) in 2007 from P.G. Department of Mathematics, Sambalpur University, Odisha, India. His research areas include primarily related to Inventory Management, Supply chain management and Logistics.
