个人简介
Mr. Rafique received his BS degree in Electronic Engineering from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU), Islamabad Campus, Karachi, Pakistan in 2011 and an MS Electronic Engineering degree in 2017 from Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST), Islamabad, Pakistan. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Radio Technologies at Center for Wireless Communications, Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, University of Oulu, Oulu, Finland.
From June 2010 to January 2012, he worked with the Research Group of Microelectronics and FPGAs at MAJU as a Research Associate. From May 2013 to March 2015, he worked with AKSA Solutions Development Services (AKSA-SDS) as an RF Design Engineer, where he was responsible for the design, development, and implementation of RF front-ends for airborne and military applications. From October 2015 to May 2021, he worked with the Research Group of Microelectronics and RF Engineering at CUST as a Research Associate. He also worked as a freelancer with Meshtech AS, a Norway-based organization, from August 2016 to August 2017, where he was responsible for designing onboard antennas and bandpass filters for WLAN applications. From February 2021 to October 2022, he worked as a Ph.D. researcher with the Department of Information Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications, Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy.
His research interests include MIMO antennas for sub-6 GHz and mm-wave applications; UWB and SWB antennas; frequency selective surfaces; metamaterials and metasurfaces; RF front-ends and circuits; electronic system design and integration; and semiconductor device modeling. He has published a number of research articles in reputed international journals and conferences, and holds a research impact factor of 55.635 with a citation index of 441. He is a graduate student member of the Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE), USA; IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (IEEE APS), USA; IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (IEEE MTTS), USA; and a Registered Engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
