Applying rational design approaches to the identification and production of immunogens capable of eliciting broadly reactive responses to viruses. Development of broadly-protective pan-sarbecovirus and pan-coronavirus vaccines is key to the prevention and response to future disease outbreaks caused by coronaviruses.
