Tuan Nguyen Gia received the Ph.D. degree in technology. He is currently a Senior Researcher and the Vice Leader of the Turku Intelligent Embedded and Robotic Systems Research Group (tiers.utu.fi), University of Turku, Finland. He has published more than 50 international peer-reviewed articles. He is also working on reconfigurable computing with FPGA and CGRA, and energy efficiency of wearable devices and remote monitoring systems. His primary research interests include the Internet of Things, edge-AI, edge computing, and fog computing, including architectures and applications in autonomous systems, drones, and e-health. He is also an Editor and a Topic Editor of Vehicles and Sensors journals.
