Yiliu Tu(涂忆柳)

Yiliu Tu is a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, Canada. He received his BE in 1982 and ME in 1985, both from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China. Dr. Tu holds a PhD from Aalborg University, Denmark and is a P.Eng. of APEGA. He is also a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). Recently, Dr. Tu has been engaged in the following research projects: Ultra-fast laser micro-machining; Methodology and optimization models for One-of-a-Kind Production (OKP); Supply chain integration and safety management; Quality control and assurance for complex product life cycle.
