Tsutae Shinoda

Tsutae Shinoda graduated in electrical engineering school from Hiroshima University, and received the M.S. degrees from Hiroshima University in 1973 and the Ph.D. degree in physics from Tohoku University in 1999. He joined Fujitsu Laboratories in 1973. He has been developing plasma display panel technologies since he had joined Fujitsu. Technologies. Especially, he stared a color surface discharge ac plasma display panels for development of full color plasma displays since 1979. In 2005, he had established Shinoda Plasma Co., Ltd., Higoya, Japan, and is its has been a chairman and president. Dr. Shinoda is a winner of Braun Prize from the Society of Information Display (SID) for his outstanding contribution for developing a color plasma display technologies in 2003. He is a Fellow of SID and The Institute of Image Information and Television in Japan.
