Elisa Magosso

Elisa Magosso was born in Mantova, Italy, in 1971. She received the M.S. degree in electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy, in 1998 and 2002, respectively. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electronics, Computer Science and Systems, University of Bologna. Her research interests include mathematical modeling of short-term cardiovascular regulation and respiratory control mechanisms, compartment models of solutes/toxins kinetics during renal and liver dialysis, biomedical signal processing with timescale methods, and simulations of brain functions by neural networks models. She is the author or coauthor of more than 70 publications published in international journals and conference proceedings.
