Laura Trentini

After a bachelor in Environmental Engineering, I gained the joint Master of Science in Environmental Meteorology at the University of Trento and Innsbruck. During my studies, I developed scientific and technological research in the field of environmental sustainability with focus on meteorological and climatic studies. Since 2021, I'm a data scientist at Amigo working in the context of different international projects on the development of climate service, such as, for instance, the H2020 project FOCUS-Africa. My expertise includes the analysis of climatic and geospatial data with Python, R, and QGIS, the development of bias correction methods, the application and optimization of downscaling algorithms, the collection, and analysis of geographic data with GIS softwares, including the creation of new information by joining together multiple datasets.
