Tousif Khan Nizami

Tousif Khan Nizami (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, India, in 2008, the M.Tech. degree from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, Tiruchirappalli, India, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Guwahati, India, in 2017. He is currently an Associate Professor and the Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, School of Engineering and Sciences, SRM University AP Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati, India. His current research interests include adaptive and robust control techniques for dc–dc converters and drives and optimization techniques. Dr. Nizami is a member of Institute of Engineers and Automatic Control and Dynamical Optimization Society. He was a recipient of the Young Researcher Award in 2022 and the APJ Abdul Kalam Travel Award in 2020.
