Prof. Dr. med. Dr. h. c. Torsten Zuberbier is an allergologist and dermatologist. He is the Director of the Institute of Allergology at Charité Berlin and, together with Prof. Maurer, Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Translational Medicine and Pharmacology ITMP, Allergology and Immunology. Zuberbier is also President of the Global Allergy and Asthma Excellence Network GA2LEN and Chairman of the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation ECARF.
