Bio
Tonie van Dam received the Ph.D. degree in geophysics from the University of Colorado, Boulder, CO, USA, in 1991.
She held research positions at the University of Colorado; UNAVCO, Boulder; MIT, Cambridge, MA, USA; NVI Inc., Greenbelt, MD, USA; NOAA/NGS, USA; the Royal Observatory of Belgium, Uccle, Belgium; the European Center for Geodynamics and Seismology, Luxembourg; and the University of Luxembourg, Luxembourg. She has been a Professor with the Faculty of Science, Technology, and Communication, University of Luxembourg, since 2003, where she is currently the Vice President for doctoral education and training, international relations, and gender. Her research interests include research and innovation for GNSS and gravity products for applications in earth and environmental science.
