Tomokazu Shimazu

Graduated from Saitama Medical University School of Medicine in 1995. After obtaining his M.D. and Ph.D. , he moved to the U.S. and studied neurology, cerebral circulation, and metabolism at the University of Pennsylvania and Saitama Medical University. After working as a full-time lecturer at Saitama Medical Center and Saitama Medical University, he moved to the Saitama Neuropsychiatric Institute as a neurologist in 2008. He has been in his current position as assistant director since April 2015. He also serves as a member of the guideline committee of the Japan Headache Society, a member of the medical practice improvement committee, and a committee chairman of the AI task force.
