Tommaso Fasolino received the secondary school diploma in industrial electronics from the ''Antonio Pacinotti'' Technical Institute of Scafati, Salerno, Italy, in 1981.
He has been a technician in industrial electronics since 1981. In 1985, he was with Alenia S.p.A.—Fusaro. In 1993, he joined the Portici Research Center, Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and the Environment (ENEA), Portici, Italy. He was first involved in photovoltaics electrical and optical characterization, working with a-Si solar cell technologies for the ENE Department. In 1997, he was with the Department for Innovative Materials, working in the characterization of etherojunction solar cells and porous-Si sensors. In 2001, he joined the Nanotechnologies Unit to work in the field of the characterization of organic light-emitting devices and electronics. He is currently with the Nanomaterials and Device Technologies Section (MAT-NANO), Physical Technologies and New Materials (FIM) Department, ENEA.
