Tomasz T. Gorecki

Tomasz T. Gorecki received the Master's degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in automatic control, École nationale supérieure des mines de Paris, in 2012. He completed a research project at the ONERA (French Aerospace public research Institute), as master project studying application of model predictive control strategies for drones for area exploration. Since September 2012, he has been working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering within the group of C. Jones at the Automatic Control Laboratory at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Lausanne, Switzerland. He is employed in relation with the project entitled “Green energy management of structures” focusing on application of model predictive control to building and smart grid applications. His interests include robust and stochastic optimization, economic MPC, invariant set theory and computation, and economics of the smart grid.
