Tomas Homola

Tomáš Homola received the master’s and Ph.D. degrees in plasma physics from Comenius University, Bratislava, Slovakia, in 2008 and 2012, respectively. For almost two years, he was an Intern with the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology, A*STAR, Singapore, where he focused on plasma treatment and thin-film applications and roll-to-roll manufacturing technologies. He is also experienced from research stays in Finland and Austria. He is currently a Scientist at CEPLANT, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic, focusing on plasma pretreatment of polymers, posttreatment of functional coatings, cold plasma synthesis and fabrication of novel nanostructured coatings for flexible and printed electronics, and atomic layer deposition of various thin films.
