个人简介
Our lab focusses on cellular and molecular mechanisms that drive pathological remodeling of structures important for cardiac excitation-contraction coupling. We are particularly interested in the transverse tubular system (t-system) of cardiac myocytes. Our goal is to discover ways to prevent or reverse t-system remodeling in heart failure. We use methods of tissue culture, cell culture, confocal microscopy, computational image analysis, biochemical methods and electrophysiology.
