Thom F. Oostendorp was born in Deventer, The Netherlands, in 1959. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in physics, in 1983 and 1989, respectively, both from the Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands, studying bio-electric phenomena. Since 1984 he has been with the Department of Medical Physics and Biophysics, recently renamed to the Department of Cognitive Neuroscience, Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands, since 2003, as a Research Professor. He is working in various fields of bio-electricity. His main research interests are modeling bio-electric phenomena and signal analysis.
