Thelma Panaiotis

My research focuses on how machine learning can help us better understand and represent zooplankton diversity in biogeochemical models. More broadly, I am a numerical ecologist interested in various aspects of plankton ecology and distribution. I mostly use and develop computational approaches − including multivariate statistics, machine learning and deep learning − to study large plankton datasets.
