Teresa K. Spohn

German-American, born in Hanau, Germany. Attended US Department of Defense District Schools throughout elementary, middle, and high school. Worked full-time at US Army Hospital in Heidelberg while attending night classes at the University of Maryland European Division to earn Associate and Bachelor degrees. Moved to Hawaii and worked at Tripler Army Medical Center as a Research Assistant, then moved to California to study Russian at the Defense Language Institute and from there to Texas. Next moved to Colorado and completed pilot training at the US Air Force Academy to obtain private pilot license. Returned to Texas and became involved with an airborne air quality research project, which led to earning a Master's in Atmospheric Science at the University of Houston. Now living in Ireland and beginning work on a P.h.D in Atmospheric Physics at NUI Galway.
