Tchilalo Boukpessi

Prof. Tchilalo Boukpessi (DDS, PhD) is full professor in conservative dentistry and endodontics and head of the Charles Foix hospital dental medicine department (AP-HP, Ivry sur seine). Tchilalo Boukpessi is in charge of endodontics department at Paris Descartes University since 2017. She got expertise on pathophysiology of dentin, pulp biology, pulp repair, X linked hypophosphatemia. Her PhD (2006-09) was focused on the pathophysiology of dentin in caries and X linked hypophosphatemia. She had a visiting professor position at McGill university (Montreal, Canada) at the dental faculty during 14 months between 2014 and 2015. She worked in Prof Marc MacKee lab, on X-linked hypophosphatemia and the role of Osteopontin in the impaired mineralization encountered in patients. Tchilalo Boukpessi is now focuses her research work on the pulp biology and especially the pulp repair process under inflammatory conditions.
