Dr. Tapas Kumar Mandal and his group are working on the following areas,- i) Micro-nano technology ant it application in Energy harvesting, Healthcare, Process intensification, ii) Development paper based techniques and MEMS for detection of water pollutant, iii) Point of care technique for diagnosis of diseases causing agents, iv) Development of continuous micro reactor for efficient conversion of CO2 and production of hydrogen fuel utilising naturally abundant resources like sea water, CO2 and sunlight. v) On fundamentals of Multiphase Flow in microchannel/reactor. vi) On Artificial Photosynthesis
