Professional Aim: Helping academic researchers and commercial companies to achieve better patient care by providing clinical sample Biomarker analysis. I manage the BHF Cardiovascular Biomarker Laboratory in the Centre for Cardiovascular Science, University of Edinburgh, as a Facility Manager. I coordinate the internal and external projects, build a work plan, and lead a team of two technicians to conduct assays to explore the current and new biomarkers in cardiovascular diseases.
