个人简介
My main research interest focuses on the intricate role of membrane potential in the neural circuit mechanisms that control higher cognitive functions, including learning and memory, in the brain. I am fascinated by how such a fundamental biophysical parameter can exert profound control over complex cognitive processes. A hallmark of my research methodology is the use of optical recording techniques, in particular voltage sensitive dye (VSD), alongside traditional electrophysiological methods.
