Lerch Sylvain

PhD and MSc in agricultural and food sciences, S.Lerch holds since 2018 a tenure track research associate position at the Ruminants Nutrition and Emissions Research Group of Agroscope (Posieux, Switzerland). Previously, he obtained a PhD degree at INRAE (Clermont-Ferrand, France) in 2012, and helds an assistant professor position at the Université de Lorraine (Nancy, France, 2012-2018). His research aim at improve the performances of growing and suckling beef cattle production systems, with a focus on the impacts of body composition on feed efficiency, animal robustness, and the nutritionnal and sensorial qualities, and chemical safety of bovine meat and milk.
