Sweta Bhattacharya received the master’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from the State University of New York, Binghamton, USA, and the Ph.D. degree from the Vellore Institute of Technology. She is currently associated with the School of Information Technology and Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology (University), as an Assistant Professor. She has guided various UG and PG projects and published peer-reviewed research articles. Her research experience includes, working on Pill Dispensing Robotic Projects, as a fully funded Watson Research Scholar with Innovation Associates, Binghamton at SUNY. She has completed six sigma green belt certification from Dartmouth College, Hanover. Her research interests include applications of machine learning algorithm, data mining, simulation and modeling, applied statistics, quality assurance, and project management. She is a member of the Computer Society of India and the Indian Science Congress.
