After 5 years of experience gained by working in various industries and research organizations now I am currently working at Amity University as Assistant Professor. My area of expertise includes Confocal and Super resolution microscopy, plant microbe interaction, stress biology (abiotic and biotic). My current work includes investigating the role of microbes in alleviation of abiotic stress conditions in plants. I have worked in ICGEB and Towa Optics as Application Engineer . During my tenure at ICGEB(Malaria group) I specifically worked on Nikon’s Confocal and Super Resolution microscope. My work involved imaging malaria parasites during different stages of their lifecycle through advanced microscopic techniques, localization of various proteins, colocalization studies in parasites through related software, 3D image analysis through IMARIS and live cell imaging
