Steven Lassiter

Steven R. Lassiter received the B.S. and the M.S. degrees in applied physics from East Carolina University, Greenville, NC, USA, in 1984 and 1987, respectively. He has been with Jefferson Lab, Newport News, VA, USA, since October 1987. His current position is Lead Engineer for the experimental area, Hall C, at Jefferson Lab. His work at Jefferson Lab includes design, overseeing of procurement, fabrication and commissioning of large-scale superconducting magnets and their systems. He has extensive experience in FEA modeling, cryogenics, power supplies, and PLC controls systems. Mr. Lassiter is a lifelong member of the Sigma Phi Sigma physics honor society.
