Sriram Narayanan received the graduate degree in mechanical engineering and the MBA degree in information systems from the University of Delhi, New Delhi, India, in 1996 and 2000, respectively, and the doctoral degree in operations technology and innovation management (OTIM) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, NC, USA, in 2007. He is an Associate Professor with the Department of Supply Chain Management, Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI, USA. His research interests include buyer–supplier relationships, supply chain productivity, and supply chain innovation. His research has been published in several journals including Management Science , the Strategic Management Journal, Production and Operations Management, the Journal of Operations Management, Decision Sciences, and the IEEE Transactions of Engineering Management among others.
