Sourav Mallick

I was born in Purulia, West Bengal, India in 1983. I had received the B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from WBUT, India in the year 2005 after completion of my schooling from Purulia Zilla School in the year 2001. I obtained my M.Tech degree from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India in 2009. I had completed PhD degree from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India in 2014. I had worked in Calcutta Electricity Supply Corporation, India during 2006-07.Currently, I hold the post of Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering Department at Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology and Management, Durgapur, West Bengal , India from August 2013 to July 2015. I am currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, National Institute of Technology Sikkim since 2015. My special fields of interest include power system state estimation, power flow techniques and application of soft computing tools in power system operation and control.
