个人简介
My current researches focus on genomic disection to find genes controlling traits that increase soybean yield. Soybean is a traditional crop in Korea. Nowadays, however, soybean yield in Korea is much lower than those in major soybean production areas including North America and northeast China. The cause of the descrepancy has not been well characterized. Alleles of important genes that are proved to increase soybean yields will be incorporated into idiotype lines that Korean may like.
Other than soybean genetics, I also study grape genome and generate molecular genetic analysis data for genetically-modified organisms developed in Korea.
