Sonam Sinha

My research work is primarily focused on studying novel genetic and epigenetic targets for breast cancer prevention and therapy with bio-active natural components (BNCs). I’m presently investigating the therapeutic potential of BNCs in combination with chemotherapeutic drugs so as to further explore the interplay between Sirtuins and EMT pathway in triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). My long term goal is to be able to contribute to the current knowledge of the natural products, their potential to be a part of cancer therapeutics, and their usage by cancer patients with known mechanisms and herb drug interactions.
