Kumar-Krishnan Siva

Dr.Siva Kumar is the CONACHyT researcher of Materials science/Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Institute of physics, Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla (BUAP), Puebla, Mexico. His research interests are the development of nanomaterials (metal nanocrystals, metal oxides, and nanocomposites) and study their fundamental physico-chemical and optoelectronic properties for catalysis, perovskite solar cells and Surface Enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) based molecular sensing applications. In particular, green methods to synthesis metal oxides (TiO2, SiO2 and CeO2) and metal nanoparticles supported metal oxides, for catalysis and solar cells applications. In addition, his research focuses on development of highly flexible SERS-substrates for detection of biomolecules, pesticides, and microplastics.
