Simone Braga Carneiro

Postdoctoral student at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences - UFAM, DSc. in Pharmaceutical Innovation - UFAM, MSc. in Biology with emphasis on phytochemistry, activities of bioactives from the Amazon and microbiology, Specialist in Health Surveillance, Forensic Biology and Didactics of Higher Education. Graduated in Biological Sciences and majoring in Pharmacy. During the DSc. in Pharmaceutical Innovation, sandwich periods were held at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, where he developed technologies in new pharmaceutical formulations such as micro and nanotechnological delivery systems and activities of bioactives from Amazonian plants. Elaboration of extracts and oils and isolation of chemical substances and their analytical processes at the Laboratory of Natural Products together with the Research Group on Chemistry of Amazonian Biomolecules (Q-BiomA) at UFAM. Preparation of nanoemulsions, nanostructured lipid carriers and their analytical, physical-chemical and validation studies at the Galenic Development Laboratory and Toxicology Laboratory, both at UFRGS. Elaboration of microemulsions and inclusion complex with cyclodextrins and the analytical and physical-chemical studies at the Laboratory Escola de Farmácia Industrial-LEFI together with the Research Group Innovation in Pharmaceuticals and Medicines (INOFARM) at UFRN. She has experience as a university professor in disciplines in the biological and health areas and at the Hematology and Hemotherapy Foundation of Amazonas. Operates in the areas of biological sciences, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, microbiology, immunology, phytochemistry, analytical chemistry, natural products, pharmaceutical technology and innovation, biological activities of natural products, synthetics and micro and nano formulations, forensic biology, sanitary and health surveillance .
