Simona J Simona

I am a lecturer and researcher at the University of Zambia in Zambia. I hold a master's degree in research and sociology and a PhD in Sociology and Quantitative Social Science Methods from the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom. My research interests and areas of publication are around the complex influence of broader structural conditions on social and health outcomes. Substantively I am interested reproductive health, global health, medical sociology, mental health and gender and structural violence. Methodologically, I am interested in multilevel analysis, bayesian modelling, decomposition analysis, structural equation modelling and many others. I am developing an interest in studying how emergence properties develop from micro-level actions and interactions within social systems.
