Shoji Kamiya

Shoji Kamiya received the Ph.D degree in mechanical engineering from Tohoku University, Japan, in 1989. He was with Tohoku University as a Research Assistant and later as an Associate Professor. In 2002, he was a Visiting Professor at the Institute for Microsystem Technology, University of Freiburg, Germany. Since 2004, he has been a Professor at Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan. His current research interest covers mechanical reliability issues and strength evaluation of various thin-film materials systems.
