Our lab studies genome evolution, regulatory mechanisms particularly under environmental stress, genetic and molecular bases of traits, predictive biology using machine learning, and information extraction from literature with natural language processing. We use a combination of experimental and computational approaches to solve our problems that is inherently interdisciplinary.
