Shima Bahramvash Shams

Shima Bahramvash Shams received the B.Sc. degree in civil (survey) engineering from the University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, in 2010, the M.Sc. degree in photogrammetry from the K. N. Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in engineering science from Washington State University, Pullman, WA, USA, in 2021. Since 2021, she has been a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Research Application Laboratory, National Center for Atmospheric Research, Boulder, CO, USA. Her research interests include remote sensing, retrieval theory, decision support systems, environmental monitoring, atmospheric trace gas, biosphere–atmosphere interactions, land cover and land cover change, and science communication. Dr. Shams is a member of the American Meteorological Society and the American Geophysical Union.
