Shilpa Rao

Shilpa Rao is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Neuropathology, National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. She is proficient in diagnostic surgical neuropathology for neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases, including muscle, nerve, infections, neurodegeneration, and epilepsy-related cases. She is also trained for independently providing rapid intra-operative diagnosis for neurosurgeons, reporting various molecular/immunological tests for brain tumors, neuromuscular disorders, and neuro-immunopathology.
