Sheng-Yang Yu

Sheng-Yang Yu (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical and industrial engineering from National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2003, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, Austin, TX, USA, in 2010 and 2012, respectively. From 2005 to 2008, he was with Delta Electronics, Inc., Taiwan, as a Design Engineer for LCD TV power supplies who has won Design Awards for two consecutive years. He joined Texas Instruments Incorporated in 2010 as a Systems and Applications Engineer who is responsible for a wide variety of power supply designs, which includes active ac–dc rectifiers and dc–dc converters. He was elected as a Member of Group Technical Staff in 2017 and elected as a Senior Member of Technical Staff in 2021 for his technical contributions, innovations, and influences. Since 2022, he has been acting as a Systems Manager focusing on high power (over 500 W) supply reference designs.
