Shahram Keyvaninia

Shahram Keyvaninia received the B.Sc. degree in applied physics and the M.Sc. degree in photonics from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, and the Kerman Graduate University of Technology (KGUT), Kerman, Iran. In 2008, he was with the Photonic Research Group, Interuniversity Microelectronics Center (IMEC)/Ghent University, Belgium, and a Visitor Scientist with the Photonic Integration Group (Phi), Technical University of Eindhoven, The Netherlands. He developed the technology for integrating III–V material on top of silicon-on-insulator based on die-to-wafer bonding and new fabrication processes for photonic devices. Since 2015, he has been a Scientific Researcher with the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI), Germany. His current research interests include the design and fabrication of integrated photonic devices. He is a member of the IEEE Laser and Electrooptics Society and the Optical Society of America.
