Heidari Yazdi Seyed Saeid

Seyed Saeid Heidary Yazdi was born in Tabriz, Iran, in 1990. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical power engineering from the Khajeh Nasir Toosi University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2011. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical power engineering (both with First ClassHons.) from the Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2013 and 2019, respectively. Since 2019, he has been with Monenco Iran Consulting Engineers, where he is currently a Power Systems Engineer. He has authored or coauthored more than 19 journal papers and technical conference proceedings. His research interests include the application of power electronics in HVDC grids, wind systems, energy storage systems, variable-speed drives, modern power systems, FACTS devices, and also modeling and grid integration of renewable energy sources and power system control. He was the recipient of the Selected Paper Award from the committee of the Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering (ICEE) that was held in Mashhad, Iran on 8-10 May 2018.
